We have pledged to donate a certain amount of our profits
to help those ten's of thousands of fellow Americans who
have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. We will be
running this program until at least October 31, 2005. If
the response is as great as we expect, we will consider
extending the program. We have actually pledged to help
one family that we have "adopted" on our website. Please
check back soon, as we are currently getting their story to
share with you. The donations we receive through sales,
will be directly given to this family.
For each 16 oz candle we sell, we will donate $3.00. For
each 8 oz candle we sell, we will donate $1.50. For each
small gift basket we sell, we will donate $7.00. For each
large gift basket we sell, we will donate $10.00.
Please help us. As Americans, we are known to help other
nations who need our help. Well, we need to help our own
now. If you don't want to purchase our candles and help
donate that way, please do something! Those of us who
weren't directly affected need to help however we can.
All orders will be processed the same as always, and each
order should ship within 24 hours. You will receive
the same great product at the same price as always. We are
simply giving up a bit of our bottom line to help those in
need.
